We are seeking a smart, edgy and spirited marketing professional to work hard and have fun on our team. The ideal candidate will be a creative, analytical, web savvy leader with marketable writing skills who doesn’t mind the details. Use both sides of your brain to create powerful collateral, presentations and online content, while contributing to tradeshows, PR, email campaigns, newsletters, social marketing and anything else we can think of. Excellent writing skills are essential.

You will market a variety of technology product and service solutions by conceiving, presenting and executing elements for a successful B-to-B Online Sales Process:

  • Generate media coverage by writing and pitching press releases and implementing innovative mainstream and new media press strategies
  • Understand and leverage blogs, social networking sites and other new media tools
  • Develop and implement marketing and communications concepts on behalf of clients
  • Direct, develop, compile compelling web site content
  • Build and promote strategic partnerships and alliances
  • Work cross-functionally with other team members, including software developers, to drive process and tool improvements.
  • Own our email newsletter and develop and manage other email-based promotions.
  • Strategize, develop and implement concepts to drive targeted visitors to website and turn those visitors into sales

To be successful you should:

  • Be comfortable with technology concepts and pinpointing the market value behind them
  • Be an excellent writer and editor experienced with positioning value propositions to customers in compelling ways
  • Have a passion for online marketing and understand how to optimize a website
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment with continually shifting needs and priorities
  • Have 3+ (ideally 5) years experience in successfully implementing Online Marketing strategies and plans
  • Have a desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Be able to demonstrate ability to work with diverse constituencies
  • Have a high degree of attention to detail and strong multi-tasking skills

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in an online marketing role with increasing levels of responsibility. However, experienced and mid-career candidates looking to make a change into web-based marketing are encouraged to apply.
