RingMaster Software Announces User Group

Burlington, VT, March 2, 2009 – RingMaster® Software Corporation, the leading provider of change management software products for the maintenance of Oracle® E-Business Suite, announced the formation of the RingMaster Software User Group (RMUG). The first RMUG meeting was held on January 28, 2009 via webcast with attendees. Representing major companies from a wide range of industries: IT consulting, healthcare, education, manufacturing, network solutions and construction materials.

The RingMaster User Group was formed to promote the exchange of ideas between the users of the RingMaster software products such as RingMaster APM and RingMaster Clone.

The event was a success. Participants, whose experience ranged from seasoned loyal customers to newbies, shared stories, praises, criticisms and new ideas. A training session on the patch prerequisite and patch impact analysis capabilities of RingMaster APM was conducted by RingMaster’s Customer Advocates and the group explored how these features could help Oracle developers and business analysts too, not just DBAs.

One DBA, from Michigan, who has been using RingMaster APM for about 5 years, says that he has been using the Patch Prediction functionality since day one.

“When we looked at the Oracle OAM maintenance wizard, we found that it couldn’t come close to RingMaster APM’s functionality. We have been using the patch grouping, and customization impact functionality too. We just love using it.”

The open format allowed the attendees to get to know one another, encouraged free flowing discussions and an exchange of ideas between RingMaster and its customers. Everyone is looking forward to the next one.
